Amazing Treasure

I was sitting here at he computer today doing a bunch of mundane work,( Calling Doctors and dealing with catastrophes)when I started to realize I was getting irritated at the clutter underneath the desk. I decided to slink down under there to investigate. I found a wonderful world under my desk. You would not believe the amazing treasures I discovered!

I found the infamous missing swimming floaty! Where, I wondered, could a bright orange arm floaty have disappeared to? I will tell you. The magical world under my desk!

I found my missing shoe; the nice ones I always were to church during the summer months and when my toes are properly pedicured.

I found a phone, a Blue's Clues toy(classic favorite of my crew), a Nerf dart(oh thank heavens we found the ONE missing after the dart gun fight), and a few lovely things like used band aids and Popsicle sticks.

I am ever so pleased I decided to go exploring today. Aren't you glad to have heard about it?

Here we are all at one of our family cemeteries on Memorial Day. The kids were all in very good moods and enjoyed running around and having a good time together. It was so green and beautiful that day. Perfect weather and a perfect day.

First swim of the season!

Nicky grinning

Walker screaming like a girl.

My two brownies.

Little bitty fishy.

Chillin' in the chair.

The pool at our condo opened up the Saturday prior to Memorial day. The kids had been counting down the days. They were so ready to get out in the sun and swim. We brought along our two friends who had spent the night, so I was alone with nine children! It was actually really great. Cameron completely enjoyed his first time taking a swim. We were out in the pool for two hours before we even noticed. On Memorial Day we went back with Daddy and stayed another couple of hours. We are going to have so much fun this summer. Hopefully Mama will even get a tan this year!

Sixth Grade Graduation

Believe it or not, my Morgan has grown up! This past Thursday, she graduated from the sixth grade. The time flies so fast. I know we say it all the time, but it is so true! When she was born we thought we would never make it through the first year of all her surgeries. Now almost twelve years have gone by, and I feel like I hardly remember it. Her school did a nice program for the graduation. We all really enjoyed it. James was unable to get out of work, so he took Morgan on a date the next evening. She was really excited about that! I cannot picture my tiny Mo walking around the halls of the middle school next year. At least she will have her big brother there to torture, I mean take care of her.
